Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a property after hot ashes caught light in a bin.
The burgeoning blaze in Sycamore Road, Launton was spotted on Sunday morning (November 13) by a neighbour who alerted the residents to the incident.
The residents in turn left the property immediately and called the fire service.

Crews from Bicester Fire Station and Rewley Road Fire Station scrambled to the scene and quickly used a hosereel on the bin in the rear garden to stop any further damage to the property.
Firefighters then used a thermal image camera to check for fire spread internally.
Images taken at the scene show the bin which held the ashes completely melted, with the remaining ash spread across the floor, as well as damage to the property’s guttering.
A spokesperson for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Our advice if there is a fire is to get out, stay out and call us out which was followed perfectly on this occasion.
“The fire was started accidentally with some ashes that had been put into a bin. To make sure the ashes are completely safe before putting them into a bin please dampen them down first to make sure they are cold and wet.
“It’s also important to keep bins away from your property so in the worst case scenario if there was to be a fire, it wouldn’t be able to spread and risk losing your property.”
