PEOPLE are invited to have their say on plans for the redevelopment of Sovereign Housing Association’s former depot and office in East Hanney.
The site in Oxford Road is predominantly surrounded by housing on two boundaries and partly surrounded on a third.
Sovereign’s proposals are to demolish the disused depot and office - and transform it into a ‘high-quality’ residential development.

Proposals are to deliver 11 two and three-bedroom houses for shared ownership and affordable rent.
Sovereign has stated the homes will be designed to ‘complement the aesthetics of the local area’.
Steve Trenwith, land and planning director at Sovereign, said: “Our plans will transform what is currently a disused depot and office building into 11 quality homes.
“If taken forward, our proposals will deliver modern and spacious two and three-bedroom homes in East Hanney.”
Sovereign is keen to hear from interested parties and the wider community. Feedback from the consultation will help to influence the design proposals as they move forward.
A public consultation drop-in event will be held at the former offices on Oxford Road, East Hanney, on Thursday, November 17 from 2pm until 7pm.
This will provide an opportunity for local residents, businesses and stakeholders to view the proposals and meet with members of the project team.
