A 14-year-old boy has admitted raping a woman in an Oxford park.
The teenager, from the city, appeared at Oxford Crown Court and admitted two counts of rape.
The 19-year-old woman was attacked in a park near the John Allen Centre, Cowley, on February 9.
Amjad Malik, prosecuting, said she was forced off Between Towns Road into the park against her will.
He said: "Then in the park there were threats of force."
A further charge of robbery, which the teenager denied, was ordered to lie on the court file.
Judge Julian Hall adjourned sentencing for reports and remanded the boy into secure accommodation.
Judge Hall said: "I simply have no idea of the background of this young man.
"This was an extraordinarily nasty incident."
He told the teenager: "The overwhelming probability is you will be locked up."
The teenager will be sentenced on a date before the end of July yet to be fixed.
Judge Hall refused to consider a request to name the rapist, but he said he would consider any application when the teen is sentenced.
His identity cannot be published because of a court order, although today it emerged Oxford Crown Court had broken the law by printing his name for the public to be able to read.
