MINI car owners from Oxfordshire have been invited to take part in an event to raise money for children living in poverty.
Organisers have unveiled plans for the return of Mile of Minis challenge, a driving day out for old and new Mini car owners and their families, which will start at Mini Plant Oxford and end at Silverstone’s Interactive Museum, in Towcester, on March 12 next year.
The aim is to fundraise for Buttle UK, the national children's charity, who are helping families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis by providing financial assistance to pay for basic items including children’s beds and household appliances. They also fund school uniforms, computers and books.

Organiser Giulia St George said: “We really hope Mini owners will come out and support the event next year.
“More so than ever before, families across the country are really struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
“We hope the event will give some of these families the much-needed help to give their children a better chance in life”.
