A FUNDRAISING event is to take place on November 17 to raise money for a cancer charity at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. 

Maggie’s, a charity which provides free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their family and friends, is hosting a ‘beauty party’ event, collaborating with Look Good Feel Better UK, an organisation that helps people feel their most confident when going through cancer treatment.

The event will be held at Maggie’s centre in the grounds of the hospital from 7pm and will include live music, canapes, gin tasting, and make up demonstrations. 

Multiple local gin distilleries will offer tastings, including the Oxford Artisan Distillery, the Henley Distillery, Sky Wave Gin, the Wood Brothers Distillery and Pentire Gin from Cornwall.
