HAYLEY BROWN, 25, of Ticknell Piece Road, Charlbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Honda Jazz in Kingham. She had 99mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80. She was fined £80, banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.
GAVIN SMITH, 36, of Osney Lane, Oxford, admitted driving a Ford Transit on the A41 while over the limit for cannabis and benzoylecgonine, uninsured and disqualified from driving. He also admitted possession of cannabis. He was given four months’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half and must complete 150 hours of unpaid work, the thinking skills programme and up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days with probation. The magistrates banned him from driving for two years and ordered he pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JONAH MILES-COLLETT, 29, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing a £6.80 pack of ice lollies from Tesco in Witney and beating a woman in the shop. He was ordered to pay her £100 in compensation and a further £6.80 to Tesco for the lifted lollies.
MARTIN COX, 49, of Couldrey Close, Abingdon, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order that bans him from drinking alcohol in a public place. He was caught boozing in Bury Street, Abingdon, on August 19. He received a 12 month conditional discharge, meaning he will not face further punishment if he stays out of trouble in the next year. The Crown was awarded £45 in costs.
LEE WARD, 28, of Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, admitted racially aggravated harassment against a police officer and two counts of threatening behaviour. The magistrates imposed a 90 day alcohol abstinence order. He must complete up to 40 rehabilitation sessions with the probation service and pay £190 in costs and surcharge.
DANNY RAYSON, 32, of Bluebell Court, Oxford, pleaded guilty to damaging a woman’s phone in Faringdon last December. The magistrates imposed an 18 month conditional discharge and awarded the victim £150 in compensation.
TRAVIS FRASER, 30, of Campion Hall Drive, Didcot, pleaded guilty to harassing a woman by sending her unwanted emails between September 2021 and February this year. He must complete 60 hours of unpaid work, up to 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days and pay £180 in costs and surcharge. A restraining order bans him from contacting his victim until August 2024.
SIMON BELLCHAMBERS, 54, of Calamint Court, Harwell, was given a nine month alcohol treatment order after he admitted a spree of criminal damage offences. He pleaded guilty to 13 counts of damaging the same Peugeot 108 in Hazel Gardens, Harwell, in December and January. He must pay £200 in compensation.
DARREN DAVISON, 50, of Rymers Lane, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving a Mazda 3 in Sainsbury’s car park at the Heyford Hill superstore in February while over the limit for cocaine. He was banned from driving for 15 months, ordered to complete up to 15 rehabilitation sessions with probation and must pay £85 in prosecution costs.
ANDREW SMITTH, 40, of Hamilton Close, Bicester, admitted stealing gin, Bailey’s liqueur and vodka from Sainsbury’s. He must pay £207 in compensation and complete a nine month drug rehabilitation order.
