A victim was reportedly robbed at knifepoint outside Witney Leisure Centre.
A user of Witney Spotted Facebook page warned residents "be careful" after the robbery.
The woman said: "my son has just been robbed at knifepoint next to Witney leisure centre by a group of 8 lads that looked around 16."
Thames Valley Police confirmed they are investigating reports of a robbery at around 5.30pm yesterday (Monday, October 17) in Witan Way, Witney.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident can call 101 or make a report online quoting reference number 43220467376.
