Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seen brandishing a hammer on a high street.
A male teenager has been arrested after police received reports of a man brandishing a hammer on Banbury High Street at 10.45am today (October 18, 2022).

Police have asked anybody who witnessed the incident to please contact them and quote reference 43220468323.
Earlier this year police in Didcot called for witnesses after a man chased a victim with a hammer.

This involved a male brandishing a hammer. A 17 year old has been arrested.

The man got out of the rear of a vehicle holding the weapon and threw glass bottles at another man.
The offender then chased the victim and multiple members of the public had to take shelter inside a business.
