If you are coming to Deal for a leisure break, there are walks along the seafront, three castles within a 15 minute drive, a nature reserve and wildlife sanctuary and two zoos.

Shopping is on hand in many places and in Deal the shops are an attractive mixture of old and new.
If you are a keen golfer then the Royal is the place to be. There are four well-known golf courses close by - The Royal Cinque Ports in Deal. Princes in Sandwich, Walmer and Kingsdown in Deal and Royal St George's in Sandwich.
