Residents can quiz developers about plans for a controversial tennis centre at a meeting tonight.

An open meeting to discuss the development of Alexandra Courts in Middle Way, Summertown, will begin at 7.45pm in the Church Hall, Portland Road.

Wildwood Leisure wants to build four indoor courts as part of a 14-court centre on the site, which is currently publicly-owned and includes 14 grass tennis courts and six hard courts.

Some residents have voiced opposition to the scheme amid fears it will lead to noise disturbance.

Speaking at the meeting will be Andrew Parsons and John Loosemore, directors of Wildwood Leisure Limited.
