An alleged Wilderness Festival drug dealer will stand trial next year.
Lloyd Smythe, 36, is said by prosecutors to have been selling drugs and psychoactive substances at the well-heeled music festival in west Oxfordshire in August 2021.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, Smythe, of Tabard Garden Estate, London, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drug cocaine and class B ‘designer’ drug methylmethcathinone. He also denies possession of ketamine and supply of a psychoactive substance.
Judge Nigel Daly bailed him to return to court in February for his trial.
The case was placed in the warned list, meaning it could be called on at any time in a two week period beginning on February 6.
