A VAN driver was arrested after being stopped by the police in South Oxfordshire.
Thames Valley Police said they stopped a van which was seen leaving Lewknor, a village south of Thame, after a burglary.
The stop on Lower Icknield Way led to an arrest for burglary, theft of motor vehicle and fraudulent use of plate and drug drive. The police also said the van had cloned plates.

Number plate cloning is the practice of displaying someone else's registration number on a vehicle to hide its true identity and measures are currently in place by the DVLA to deter people from displaying cloned or illegal plates, through fines.
