One of Witney's oldest pubs is to close for refurbishment.
The Plough in the High Street is closing for the next two weeks.
Sharing the news on Facebook, the pub said it was to allow for some major building work.
"Whilst this takes place, we’re taking the opportunity to make our gorgeous little pub even more special," it said.
The reopening date is yet to be confirmed.
The family-run pub serves "traditional pub food" in a "cosy, welcoming environment" and hosts live music.
The River Windrush flows at the bottom of the garden.
Reviewing the pub for the Witney Gazette, Derek West wrote: "There has been little opposition to its claim to be the ‘oldest pub in Witney’ and equally the only Witney pub with a river frontage – a fact enjoyed by many who have experienced a wonderful sunny day in The Plough’s long garden leading to the River Windrush."
