Motorists have been told to brace themselves for disruption when "vital repair work" starts on stretches of the county's worn out carriageways next week.
Work will take place in Marston Road, Cowley Road, London Road, Lynn Close, Jeune Street and Manzil Way in Oxford and The Broadway and Laburnum Crescent in Kidlington.
The work is scheduled to take place at the following times: Marston Road - Tuesday, May 27 until Wednesday, June 4.
Cowley Road - Thursday, June 5 until Sunday, June 15.
Jeune Street - Thursday, June 5 until Sunday, June 15.
London Road/Lynn Close - Tuesday, May 27 until Wednesday, June 4.
The Broadway, Kidlington - Monday, June 2 until Friday, June 6.
Laburnum Crescent, Kidlington - Saturday, June 7 until Saturday, June 14.
Work will be carried out between 8am and 4pm and stop/go boards will be used "where necessary".
A county council spokesman said: "Oxfordshire Highways regrets the inconvenience this may cause, but there is no other way to carry out this vital repair work."
