A railway worker lost a leg after he was struck by a train last night.
The 55-year-old's left leg was amputated on the railway line near Kennington Road, Kennington, Oxford, at 9.50pm following the incident.
The man is currently in the John Radcliffe Hospital where his condition was described as stable.
An investigation is under way.
