Lloyd Sabin, who already has a half-century to his name in the top division of cricket's Oxford Times Cherwell League, was in sparkling form for Warriner (Bloxham) in the Lord's Taverners Under 14 Trophy.

He hit 60 in Warriner's 148-9 in their derby match with Bloxham School, who were then bowled out for 56 for a 92-run defeat.

Chris Knowles took 4-5 as Magdalen College School (Oxford) shot out Faringdon for 54 to set up a ten-wicket win.

Burford recorded a 30-run victory over Kingham (Chipping Norton).

Joe Miller (29) and Ross Barratt (28) took Burford to 136-4, before Kingham were held to 106-4, despite Liam Gough making 42.

In the Oxfordshire Under 15 League, Burford's Adam Wallington took 5-2 to send Wood Green (Witney) crashing to 30 all out and an eight-wicket defeat.

Haris Naeem starred with an unbeaten 63 as Bicester beat local rivals Cooper by 115 runs.

Haris's heroics took Bic- ester to 151-5, and then Cooper were rolled over for 36, with Andrew Hatton taking 3-16.

Rory Slater's 52 proved in vain as Faringdon went down by ten runs to Oxford Community College in the Daily Telegraph Under 15 Twenty20 Cup.

Slater took Faringdon to 123-5 in reply to Oxford's 133-8, which was built aroung good knocks by Wasim Mohammed (33) and Arfan Ahmed (30).

In the Oxfordshire Under 13 Cup, St Birinus's Conor Morrison (4-1) and Shaun Stewart (4-12) sent Faringdon crashing to 31 all out and a ten-wicket defeat.
