AIR cadets had aching feet after they trekked ten miles to raise money for a good cause.
Almost 30 members of the Air Training Corps and staff from 2410 Didcot squadron, dressed in full combat gear, hiked from the Royal British Legion base in Harwell to East Hendred and up to the Ridgeway, before heading back to Harwell via Chilton.
They raised about £1,400 from the 3-hour annual hike. The money will be split between the squadron, based in Newlands Avenue, Didcot, and Harwell Royal British Legion.
Flt Lt Cavon Chaney said: "It was a hot day but the cadets walked very well and we did not have one drop out due to the heat."
