Oxford Mail reporter Debbie Waite has been shortlisted for the daily feature writer of the year award in the industry's 'Oscars'.
It is the second year in a row she has been nominated for the prestigious prize in the UK Press Gazette awards.
Crime reporter Matt Wilkinson has also been shortlisted, in the reporter of the year category.
The Mail itself has a nomination for multimedia publisher of the year for the way its newspaper and website, oxfordmail.co.uk, complement each other with written, video and audio reports.
The Mail's sister paper, The Oxford Times, has been nominated for the weekly newspaper of the year for publications with circulation abover 20,000.
