A cyclist involved in a collision with a bus this morning suffered minor injuries it has been revealed.
The accident happened in Park End Street near Oxford railway station at 8.20am and an ambulance crew treated the male cyclist at the scene before taking him to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington.
The damaged bike was removed from the road shortly after the crash and the road was closed for a short period of time.
Toby Shergold, a spokesman for Oxford Police, said: "The cyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital suffering minor injuries."
The incident sparked traffic delays along Botley Road as drivers tried to get into the city during the busy rush hour.
