PAUL Rees, from Oxford, moved up from ninth to eighth in the 2008 Formula Palmer Audi Championship after three races at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium.
Rees, 22, netted ninth, fourth and eighth in the nine-lap races at the world famous Spa circuit. E-Media sponsored Rees has 97 points - 57pts behind championship leader Jason Moore (Bedford) - after eight rounds.
Former Grand Prix driver, Martin Brundle, made a one-off appearance at Spa, the 48-year-old who contested 165 GPs between 1984-96, joining his 17-year-old son, Alex, in the championship.
Brundle Snr finished eighth, seventh and sixth in the three races.
Rounds nine and ten in the 20-race, eight venue series are staged at Oulton Park in Cheshire on June 27-28.
