TEMPORARY traffic lights are expected to cause delays across an Oxfordshire toll bridge until next week.

The two-way traffic system has been put in place on Oxford Road toll bridge in Swinford in both directions.

SGN, a British gas distribution company, is carrying out works in the area which are expected to until Tuesday, October 4 after being put in place yesterday (Tuesday, September 27).

The works were granted permission for Oxfordshire County Council, the highways authority, are described as “utility repair and maintenance works.”

Oxfordshire County Council's traffic management team has warned drivers to expect “increased delays” in the area and has advised people to “plan ahead where possible”.
