Four women have teamed up to enter the Blenheim Triathlon on 7th June to raise money towards the Pegasus Theatre fundraising campaign, Building The Future, for the redevelopment of the delapidated premises they are currently using.
Alison Partridge is a Service Manager for Oxfordshire County Council, and a trustee of the Pegasus Theatre Trust charity. Her team mates, Tan Lea, Becky Horton and Penny Hill have all been closely involved with the theatre over the years, either as trustees, colleagues or parents of children who have experienced the Pegasus magic.
They are deeply committed to the invaluable and unique opportunities it offers children and young people across Oxfordshire:
"Pegasus has a strong track record of working with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in our communities, and of building links and friendships across cultural and class divides which empower and excite everyone involved." Alison Partridge
Their fundraising endeavours will go towards the creation of a new Pegasus Theatre. £4.6 million has already been realised and £1.7 million is urgently needed to enable the refurbishment and replacement of the existing crumbling buildings.
The team hope their mini challenge will raise at least £2,000 towards the cost of this major project.
Anyone wishing to sponsor the team can do so online at http://www.justgiving.com/triathlon-pegasus or direct by cheque to Pegasus Theatre Trust.
