James Wright stole the show in the North Oxfordshire Schools Athletics Trials.
The Marlborough School, Woodstock pupil smashed the triple jump record by a huge 74cm in the intermediate boys - the second time he beat the previous best leap on the day.
Wright cleared 13.50m, a distance that saw him soar past the national entry mark.
He then added the long jump title to his collection with a county standard leap of 6.12m.
Another athlete to double up was Tom Stephenson, of Burford School.
The junior boy won both the 400m and 800m.
Gosford Hill's Melissa Hawtin, competing in the intermediate girls, went one better than her sister by winning the 1500m with ease.
Lauren Hawtin was just pipped in a great tussle with Connie McMillan, of The North Oxfordshire Academy, in the junior girls 1500m.
McMillan then won the 800m to complete a good day.
