The village, near Bicester, lost its previous branch, located inside The Plough Inn, when the postmaster resigned in June 2021.

While the new premises were built, a temporary service operated from St Mary's Church, Station Road.

Anthony Bayley, Post Office Network Provision Lead said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring a permanent Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. The opening hours will make it convenient for customers to visit.”

The opening hours of Marsh Gibbon Post Office are: Monday – Saturday: 7am – 6pm and Sunday: 7am – 12 noon.
