A COLOURFUL mural painted by a group of pupils has appeared in Marston.
The project to decorate the underpass by St Nicholas school was funded by Old Marston Parish Council and executed by children attending year 1 to 11 at Meadowbrook College in Raymund Road.
The council has agreed to spend £1,000 on paint for the mural, which is set to be completed in the next few weeks.

Charlotte Hughes, who works at the college, said: “The council have kindly funded the project and all our students from year 1 to year 11 have really embraced the invitation and have shown their creative skills in a beautiful design, which once completed will truly brighten the days of those passing by.
“This is a work in progress, and we will be there still over the next few weeks, so please do come by and take a look and say hello.”
