Ten units of Rainbows celebrated the 21st birthday of their organisation with a giant birthday party.
The party took place at Sutton Courtney village hall and featured around 75 Rainbows, aged five to seven, from 10 units across the county. Abingdon Division Commissioner, Denise Roberts, pictured front, said: "It was a lovely party and everyone had a great time.
"As well as celebrating our 21st birthday, we were also launching the 12-hour challenge, in which we are asking people to give up 12 hours a year to help our units. As a volunteer myself, I willingly give up my time but I feel it is really worthwhile - you see girls growing in confidence, trying something different and growing up in a positive way."
Oxfordshire's Rainbow units are looking for adults, men and women, to help in their running.
