A WOMAN from Henley remains in a serious condition in hospital following yesterday's two-car crash on the A40.
She was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, suffering from a fractured skull and two broken legs.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a green Peugeot and a blue Volvo, at about 11.30am.
The police investigation into the crash, which happened between Cassington and the Woodstock Road roundabout, closed the road for several hours.
The woman, in her late 30s, had been driving the Peugeot.
The driver of the Volvo, a 67-year-old from Surrey, was also treated for head injuries. He has since been released from hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is urged to call PC Dan Henderson on 08458 505505.
