Visitors to Oxford's Ashmolean Museum this weekend will be able to take a virtual pilgrimage to Mecca.
People of all faiths are welcome to attend the event called "Hajj - in the footsteps of Abraham (peace be upon him)", which has been organised by Oxford Islam and Muslim Awareness Project.
The exhibition will focus on the yearly Muslim pilgrimage of Hajj to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, and will involve a presentation and information on the history and current practice of this important pillar of the Islamic faith.
People who have recently made the pilgrimage will be there to talk about their experiences.
And there will also be video presentations, poster displays, historical artefacts and food from around the Muslim world.
The exhibition will be open from on Saturday between 10am and 5pm and on Sunday from midday until 4pm.
It takes place in the museum's lower ground floor lecture theatre.
More information on the exhibition is available by visiting the website www.oxfordimap.org
