A NEW pizza restaurant is due to open in Didcot next week.

Wildwood Pizza, Pasta, Grill will be opening at The Orchard Centre in Station Road on Thursday, September 29.

The restaurant is offering guests a free drink on the opening day which people can claim with any main.

It will be located around the corner from Boswells near the Cornerstone store.

Wildwood Restaurants is a chain which started in 2004 with a new “Mediterranean pizza, pasta, grill concept”.

The first restaurant was opened in West London and now there are Wildwood’s located all across the UK including Pioneer Square in Bicester and Market Place in Wantage.

Residents seem excited by the news with one commenting on the announcement saying: “Pleased to hear this.”
