Victims of flooding in Oxfordshire are set to receive a fraction of the European Union cash promised to them in March, it has emerged.
The Government has set up a fund of £31m for local authorities affected by last summer's flood to help rebuild their communities.
This followed a bid from the European Union Solidarity Fund.
However, the European Commission had earlier approved payment of about £110m from the fund - a pot of money set aside for member states hit by natural disaster.
