Sir - How can the NOC not be given extra funding for the very specialised work they do?
I have been a patient for more than 30 years. They have supported me throughout a lifetime of the ups and downs of chronic rheumatoid arthritis.
They treat patients with very distressing, painful and very disabling bone diseases, from all over the country. It is not just 'Hips and Knees'.
If they were a hospital specialising in the treatment of cancer, there would be no question regarding funding. Many bone diseases last a lifetime, and affect the whole body. We need the support of this great hospital, and we need to support them.
