POLICE today appealed for help after two raids on homes in north Oxfordshire.
On Wednesday last week, some time between 8.15am and 4pm a house was broken into in The Lane, Fritwell. Jewellery and cash were stolen.
At 2.30pm, three white, smartly dressed men were seen on the driveway of a neighbouring property. One of them was 6ft tall; aged in his late teens or early twenties; had short, blond hair short and was wearing a pale blue shirt. The others had dark hair, but no further description is available.
A metallic blue car was also seen parked in nearby May Close with a possible 04 registration number.
Then, between 2.30pm and 10.40pm on the same day a house in South View, Ardley, was also broken into and cash and clothing were stolen.
PC Mike West, of Banbury police station, said: "We would like to know more about these men and the car that were seen in Fritwell on Wednesday - did you see them in the area?
"They may have nothing to do with these crimes and if this is the case we would urge the men and the owner of the car to get in touch so we can rule them out of our enquiries."
