It’s that time again! The Barton Bash came roaring back in 2021 after an enforced Covid break in 2020, and the Barton Community Association will again be welcoming everyone to its 2022 extravaganza at the Neighbourhood Centre this Saturday, September 24 from midday to 4.30.

There will be stalls, food, demonstrations, bingo, face painting, bendy balloon animals, a mini zoo and owls, a raffle with great prizes including a Family Annual Pass to Blenheim Palace - and that’s just the half of it.

You don’t have to live in Barton to enjoy the fun; just hop on the bus to Underhill Circus and join us all.

The Bash provides fun and entertainment, information and laughs, great value meals from the Eatwell’s kitchen, and a chance for people to get together and enjoy themselves.

But an important purpose of holding the Bash is to raise funds from the raffle etc. to provide the seed money for our programme of subsidised dance, yoga and exercise classes, coach trips and other community events for adults and children during 2023.

We are grateful to our sponsors, whose generosity enables us to mount this popular event, and include: Christ Church College, Soha, Greensquare, Redrow, Grosvenor and Oxfordshire County Council; and for donations from Barton Chippy, Fusion Leisure, Partyman, Ice Hairdressing Headington, Asda, Tesco, Pegasus Theatre, Blenheim Palace, Oxford United and McDonalds.
