Caroline Van Zyl has become the Liberal Democrat's first high-profile casualty of election night, losing her Marston seat to Labour's Beverley Hazzell.
Mrs Van Zyl polled 544 votes to Ms Hazzell's 732.
In Cowley Marsh, Tony Brett failed to make a comeback, losing to Saj Malik - who defected from Lib Dems to Labour.
Mr Brett polled 447 to Mr Malik's 772.
Colin Cook recorded a landslide win for Labour in Jericho and Osney.
He polled 907 votes, beating the Liberal Democrat candidate Adrian Rosser into second place with 301 votes.
