A NURSE serving life for murdering two patients and bringing 15 to the brink of death has launched a bid to clear his name.
Benjamin Geen, 25, of Banbury, has today applied for a fresh hearing at the Court of Appeal claiming to have new expert evidence from the USA that supports his case.
Geen was jailed for life at Oxford Crown Court in 2006 after being convicted of murdering two patients and causing grievous bodily harm to 15 others at the Horton Hospital in Banbury by injecting them with lethal doses of drugs.
Mrs Justice Swift adjourned the case for consideration by a full Appeal Court but no date has been set.
