Three Oxford bands are due to appear at this year's Glastonbury festival, it has been announced.
Organisers of the event, which takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, in Somerset, from Friday to Sunday, June 27 to 29, unveiled the line-up tonight.
Oxford bands featuring on Friday include flavour-of-the-moment Foals, playing the so-called Other Stage, while city-based three-piece The Young Knives are set to appear on the John Peel Stage.
It is also expected Oxford's The Epstein will appear.
Other acts billed include Leonard Cohen, Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, and The Verve on a number of stages.
More than 150,000 people attended last year, when Arctic Monkeys and The Who were among the headline acts.
Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis blamed a printing firm mole for leaking a third of the festival's line-up a day ahead of the official publication.
Ms Eavis also refused to rule out a last-minute appearance by Amy Winehouse in one of the vacant slots.
