Chrissie Lake (Oxford Mail, April 18) seems very put out at qualifying for and using her bus pass!
They are not compulsory - so if she is so upset by it, why does she have one or why does she use it?
True, they are open to abuse (people going from Land's End to John O'Groats just for the hell of it), but I suspect she is peeved at hitting the OAP status more than the subsidy itself.
