Serial flasher John Bustin has been jailed for two years.

Bustin, 41, appeared in court this morning to be sentenced for exposing himself when he committed an indecent sex act in front of a woman in an alleyway in Osney Lane last July.

He had also breached an antisocial behaviour order given to him last year to stop him flashing.

Bustin, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, has convictions for exposing himself stretching back 24 years.

Bustin was convicted by magistrates and sent to Oxford Crown Court for sentencing on Monday. However after initially reporting in he then fled the court and did not return in the afternoon.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was caught the following day in Paradise Square. He was then remanded in custody until today.

Today Mr Recorder Bueno called Bustin a menace to society.
