OXFORD United Ladies' FC boosted the fundraising total for the new Oxford Cancer Centre with a donation of £1,500.
It was raised after the squad completed a sponsored triathlon and put on a charity health day at the Spirit Health Club in the Holiday Inn at Peartree.
Chris Chesterman, the team's sports masseur, organised the event and offered 16 half-hour massages in return for donations.
The players' indoor triathlon involved four miles of running, three miles of cycling and three miles on a rowing machine.
Club captain Katherine Boardman said: "We were all pleased to take part. It was a hard workout, as most of us had never done a triathlon before, but definitely worth it."
