PLANS for a new Alfa Romeo motor dealership alongside the A40 have been turned down.
The scheme, by Sohcom, of Hanborough Business Park, involved the former Little Chef restaurant site on the north side of the road at Eynsham.
As well as a showroom for 12 cars, the firm wanted to build a display area for used cars and MoT testing facilities.
But West Oxfordshire District Council's lowlands planning sub-committee said the plan was unsuitable for a "semi-rural area."
