A man caught with £218 worth of skunk cannabis was today given a six-month suspended jail sentence.
Michael Bottley, 44, of Lambton Close, Cowley, was convicted of possessing the drugs with intent to supply after an Oxford Crown Court trial last month.
He also admitted two charges of possessing cannabis and was handed a drug treatment and testing order, £400 costs, and ordered to surrender a further £580 believed to be criminal proceeds.
Thomas Exley, 29, of Union Street, East Oxford, had admitted two charges of possessing cannabis but was cleared of intending to supply. He was ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £275.
