THE installation of CCTV cameras along Cowley Road was delayed again after councillors sent plans back to the drawing board.
Members of the city's east area committee discussed a scheme to install four wireless cameras to help fight crime.
However, they were unhappy at a report. Councillors refused to commit to a scheme unless it was on a trial basis where the surveillance cameras could be taken down at any time.
No date has been fixed for when the topic would be discussed again.
