AN OIL spill and a crash led to long queues of traffic in north Oxfordshire earlier this evening.
A spilt load of hydraulic oil over a one-mile stretch of the carriageway of the A43, north of Junction 10 of the M40, led to the closure of the road for a time. The spillage has now been cleared away.
And slow traffic built up on after a crash on the northbound carriageway of the A34 near Junction Nine of the M40.
The collision, which involved four vehicles, happened at about 5.15pm. The vehicles have been moved to a lay-by.
