Patients on the cardiology ward at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford have been isolated following the outbreak of a diarrhoea and vomiting bug.
New patients are no longer being admitted to the ward, which specialises in treatment for those with heart conditions.
It is not yet known how many patients have been affected.
