Tenants of Cottsway Housing joined staff, board members and local councillors to mark the official opening of new offices in Chipping Norton.
Cottsway manages more than 3,600 homes across West Oxfordshire, many in rural locations. With the head office in Witney, the introduction of an office in the north of the district will make it quicker and easier for many tenants to meet staff.
John Baron, chairman of Cottsway, who officially opened the offices, said: "These offices will make us more accessible to all our customers and we would like to encourage them to call in to meet staff."
Keith Clandfield, who lives in Chipping Norton, said, "On behalf of Cottsway tenants I would like to thank everyone involved in setting up the new offices. It will be of great benefit for those people that do not have transport and are unable to travel to Witney."
David Waters, Cottsway's chief executive, said: "We are always trying to improve the services we provide for our customers and we have responded to tenants' suggestions of an office in the north of the district."
The new offices are located within the Penhurst School site in New Street and are open from 10am to 1pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.
