A FEMALE cyclist who was injured in a collision with a Scania lorry in Oxford is still seriously ill in hospital.
The 45-year-old woman was hurt in the collision on the A420 at Headington Hill, Oxford, at about 3.30pm yesterday She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where she was in a critical condition last night.
However, by this morning her condition had improved to serious but stable, a Thames Valley Police spokesman said.
PC Nick Perks said: "The road was closed while police examined the scene. The area was busy at the time and if anyone witnessed the collision I would urge them to contact me."
