A CYCLIST injured in a collision with a lorry in Oxford this afternoon is in a critical condition, a Thames Valley Police spokesman has confirmed.
The woman, in her early 30s, was involved in a collision with the lorry on the A420 at Headington Hill at about 3.30pm.
She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for treatment.
The road was closed in both directions while crash investigators worked at the scene.
The police spokesman said the road was expected to be reopened by 8.30pm.
