When will the powers-that-be finally realise the necessity for a camera on the Oxford Eastern Bypass?
Twice I have seen near misses when drivers in the outside lane maintained a 50mph speed, only to be overtaken by drivers coming up behind and using the inside lane, causing the inside lane drivers to have to brake suddenly.
The revenue gained from a camera could be used to subsidise the parking fees in our city car parks and bring us in line with Banbury and Aylesbury.
I also noted that many of the drivers and vans are not from Oxford - they are driving at 80 to 100mph.
If ever there was a need for a camera, it's here.
