AFTER more than 70 years, Wardington Manor Gardens will be open to the public for the last time on Sunday, May 18.
As a farewell gesture, the final viewing will raise money for the Katharine House Hospice at Adderbury.
The gardens have been open to the public every year since the 1930s - except for the last four years following a fire in 2004, which destroyed a wing of the manor house.
The four-acre gardens, with a variety of flower borders, rose beds, orchards, ponds and a waterfall, will be open from 2pm to 5pm.
Entrance will be £5 per person, with children free.
Cream teas will be available in Wardington village hall, served by a group of catering supporters called the Helping Hands of Tadmarton.
