TREES planted eight years ago got some tender loving care from a working party of villagers.
They worked in the Millennium Wood, whose care has now been taken over by the parish council.
The original tree guards were removed, the trees trimmed and the area round them cleaned. Branches which had to be removed were used to make a home for wildlife. Parish council member Richard Cory-Wright said: "There are plans for more tree planting."
